Chris Parks

Chris has had a lifelong love of fitness and sports. He was a middle school wrestling and football coach for 12 years and loved the combination of fitness with positively impacting the lives of the children he taught. Later he moved on to other roles in manufacturing and construction. Then, once he tried Pilates, Chris immediately knew he wanted to make a career shift and become a Pilates instructor. Having struggled for years with low back and hip pain, these resolved after only a few months of a regular Pilates practice. He also noticed how it improved his sports performance, flexibility, and core strength. Chris went on to complete a comprehensive instructor training program of 500 hours with Balanced Body- a highly respected and globally renowned provider of Pilates education.

Chris is passionate about helping clients feel better and witnessing the amazing results a regular Pilates practice provides for them. His style of teaching is encouraging, positive, and challenging! He pushes you to get the most out of your workout while ensuring your safety and proper alignment.

When Chris is not in the studio he is often playing tennis or pickleball, boating on the lake, or helping his aging parents with projects around the house.
